Coach Paul Mitchell, CSCS*D, USAW Paul Mitchell is the Assistant Department Head for Personal Training and Program Manager for TEAM Programs, and Metabolics.
Paul Mitchell is also the owner and Lead Sports Performance Coach at Playmaker Strength & Conditioning, LLC.
Paul has been training athletes for over 15 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of speed enhancement and development, plyometrics, and in teaching Olympic lifting techniques.
He has trained athletes of all ages and levels in sports such as Football, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Swimming, Lacrosse, Cheer, Volleyball and Track & Field.

The Mission of Playmaker Strength & Conditioning is to provide the athlete with the very best testing, training and information available to help them not only play on the field or court, but to EXCEL at their sport.
Our coaches and trainers are nationally certified strength and conditioning coaches and also are Playmaker Speed, Agility & Power (PSAP Certified).
Playmaker Strength & Conditioning sets every athlete up for success! We help our athletes with Injury Prevention, Performance, and Results. We assess any posture or movement maladies first, before trying to jump right into training. We want to correct any abnormalities which may cause or lead to injury.
Playmaker Strength & Conditioning makes winners, period! The training is Fun, but the training is Tough. HARD but FAIR, FAIR but TRUE! If you are soft, this may not be the program for you.
We want to ensure we are constantly making progress.

"I wanted to say thank you very much for working with her this summer. She told me you were the best trainer she has had and that she wished that you could come to (her university) and work with the entire team. She developed very nicely over the summer, I saw her legs, shoulder and back get more muscles. I also wanted to tell you a story that happened while Elizabeth and I came with Jessica to work out last week while you were at your conference. We were sitting in the waiting area when a older man passed by and asked if Jessica was our daughter. I told him yes and he said, "she is the best female athletic he has ever seen in the gym. He then told me about how she can jump and had a great vertical. About 10 minutes later a lady walked by and told me "your daughter can really jump, I had never seen anything like it". We were very proud of you and her."

At the start of the tournament on Monday, June 27th , Gabrielle played five hours of tennis. Over the three day period of the tournament she played 11 hours of tennis.
Three months ago Gabrielle did not have the physical stamina to play 11 hours of tennis over a three day period. Due to your training program she’s developing the stamina to compete and play at a higher level. The training she’s currently receiving is an invaluable part of her continued success as an athlete.
