Remember when you were in the best shape of your life? I'll bet it was when you were in high school, or during your college years, right? Do you also remember the kinds of activities you did during those years?
Well, those are the kinds to activities you should be doing now. Your training now, should mimmick the kinds of activities you were doing when you were in your best shape.
Stop the never ending journey on the treadmill. Quit wasting time on those boring machines. If you are trying to get in shape, YOU ARE AN ATHLETE! SO TRAIN LIKE ONE!

WARNING! I do not care what shape you are in now. But, I do care about your attitude and williningness to get into your best shape. If you're a whimp, I'm not the trainer for you! I can refer you to a number of other trainers who need clients. My training phylosophy envolves many different styles, techniques and intensities.
Myth #1. If I lift heavy weights, I will get bulky.
This is of course mostly said by my ladies. Ladies, you do not have enough testosterone in your body to acheive those kinds of results. Most female bodybuilders with muscles like that take some sort of performance enhancing substance AND make building muscle their full time job! They don't just workout for an hour or hour and a half a day and look like that. We WILL lift heavy sometimes. To tone, we must create some muscle to show through the skin.
Myth #2. Cardio is the best way to lose fat.
While some people get great results doing hours and hours of cardio, I can't think of worse way to spend an hour than running, swimming or biking for miles. Cardio simply means you are using oxygen as your fuel source and that oxygen is helping your body break fats down, and getting rid of it. Better results can be acheived via a combination of strength training and high intensity contitioning.
Myth #3. I need to lose a couple of pounds first to prepare.
Let me show you the right way to lose fat, and keep it off, rather than use those fat loss gimmicks and diets which will only hinder our progress in the long run.
